Chakra HEALING Exercise (If you've already read the instructions or are repeating the exercise, Click HERE to begin, and if you are returning to address individual chakra issues, click on the corresponding link below:)
FIRST (base/root) CHAKRA SECOND (womb) CHAKRA THIRD (solar plexus) CHAKRA FOURTH (heart) CHAKRA FIFTH (throat) CHAKRA SIXTH (third eye) CHAKRA SEVENTH (crown) CHAKRA First, Here's Some Super Basic Chakra Theory: The chakras (pronounced chuh kruhs, not shock ruhs, according to my research) are energy nodes in the body where energy enters and leaves our energy system. The word chakra comes from sanskrit word 'cakra' which translates to 'wheel'. They each spin at different speeds, accelerating as you move up the body.
Each chakra is associated with a part of the body, a color, and a musical note, as illustrated by this chart:
(Thank you http://www.crystalinks.com)
*NOTE: Some philosophies call the
sixth chakra 'purple' instead of 'indigo', and some see the fourth
chakra as associated with both the color green and the color pink, and
see the seventh chakra as associated with both the color violet and the
color white.
And here is a MUCH more detailed list of chakras and what they correspond to: (Thank you Soul Quest Learning Center)
You can clear and heal your chakras with the Chakra Healing Exercise on the following pages. Here's how it works: Start
with the first chakra page. If you want to use the musical tone
that corresponds with the chakra, click the play button. Then,
without moving your head, read the
first sentence on your left and say it aloud or in your mind.
Then,
without moving your head, read the next sentence on your right the same
way. Then progress to the next sentence on the left, and on down
until
you have read all sentences without moving your head. The
side-to-side
movement of your eyes helps to engage both sides of the brain which
facilitates whole-brain processing and brings your Higher Self into
your body. Work your way through each page to the end, taking
your
time and really enjoying the color of each page. If thoughts and
feelings come up
during this exercise, just give them over to the color in front of you
and continue the exercise, repeating the page in front of you if you
like, to manifest a greater amount of healing. Stay on each page
to the end of the tones or longer, if you wish.
At the end of the exercise, you will have cleared and balanced all seven main chakras and will be feeling more calm, energized, and clear. You can also save this page in your bookmarks and return to the page that corresponds to the issue you want to heal, such as returning to the red first chakra page and doing that exercise when you're having fears about money or security, or returning to the indigo sixth chakra page when you want to enhance your psychic/intuitive abilities. You can do this exercise daily as a wonderful way to tune up your energy system for the day, and you can repeat it whenever you like throughout the day to keep your energy balanced and clear. Please use, share, and enjoy it with my blessings for the highest joy, healing, and abundance in your life!
